Marie Curie Cancer Care is a UK charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal cancer and other illnesses. Over the financial year 2010/11, we reached a total of 31,799 patients

Youth Health Talk

Youthhealthtalk enables young people, their family and friends, and professionals such as doctors and teachers to understand young people's experiences of health, illness and life in general. The website feature real-life accounts of issues such as effect on work and education, social life and relationships, consulting health professionals and treatment.

Dr Atiomo

At The Alice Medical Centre the doctors and nurses take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.  We run many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

We have two female GP's Dr Atiomo and Dr Onuoha

Dr Onuoha is a regular locum GP who started with us on January 2018 doing a regular session on a Tuesday Morning.

We have two practice nurses, one HCA and a team of well-trained receptionists, secretary and a Practice Manager to deliver health care at this practice.

As a relatively small practice, we provide excellent care to our patients. We get to know most of our patients very well and provide a setting where most of our patients feel very comfortable  

We have great links to other healthcare professionals such as District nurses, Health Visitors, Community Matron as well as Community Paediatricians and a Community Diabetic nurse, Car Co-ordinators, Heart Failure Nurse, Integrated Respiratory Team, Falls and Bones Nurses, Learning Disability Co-ordinators.

Dr Atiomo has previous long hospital experiences. Prior to starting her career in General Practice Dr.Atiomo's experience was in Obstetrics and Gynaecology which included a strong surgical experience. She does minor Surgery, contraceptive and sexual health including coil and implant fitting.

Our Ethos is to have a holistic approach to the provision of health care at all times.
